Therapy for Fertility, Pregnancy & Perimenopause in Fairfield County, CT

From periods to perimenopause, our bodies can shape our lives in ways we don't always talk about.

There are so many stages of life connected to our reproductive health, and each one can bring emotions, decisions, expectations, and changes that can be difficult to navigate.

Maybe you are thinking about whether you want children at all. Maybe getting pregnant hasn't happened the way you expected. You may be going through fertility treatments while it seems like everyone around you is announcing a pregnancy. You may be pregnant and discovering that you don't feel the way you thought you would. You may be grieving a pregnancy loss that other people don't fully understand.

Or maybe pregnancy and babies are behind you, and now your body is changing again. Your periods are different. Your sleep is different. Your mood, anxiety, energy, or sense of yourself may feel different, and suddenly you're hearing the word perimenopause everywhere.

These experiences are physical, but they are emotional, too.

You may be navigating:

  • Fertility concerns or infertility

  • Deciding whether or when to have children

  • Fertility testing and treatment, including IUI or IVF

  • Pregnancy after infertility or pregnancy loss

  • Miscarriage and pregnancy loss

  • Anxiety during pregnancy

  • The transition to parenthood

  • Postpartum adjustment and changes in identity

  • Changes in your relationship or sex life

  • The emotional impact of reproductive health concerns

  • Perimenopause and changing periods

  • Changes in mood, anxiety, sleep, energy, or body image

  • The complicated feelings that can come with getting older and entering a new stage of life

You deserve a place where you don't have to minimize any of it.

Reproductive experiences can be incredibly personal, and they don't always follow the story we imagined for ourselves. You can desperately want a baby and hate what fertility treatment is doing to your life. You can be grateful for a pregnancy and still be anxious or unhappy. You can love being a parent and miss who you were before. You can be finished having children and still have complicated feelings about that chapter ending.

And you can enter perimenopause feeling confused by a body that suddenly seems to be operating by a completely different set of rules.

Therapy gives you a place to talk honestly about all of it: the grief, uncertainty, anger, anxiety, relationships, identity changes, and the things you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else.

My role isn't to tell you how you should feel about your body, your fertility, pregnancy, parenthood, or getting older. It's to help you make sense of what you're experiencing and feel more like yourself as you move through it.

From periods to pregnancy to perimenopause, your needs change. You deserve support through the changes, too.
